Anonymous Usage Analytics

To improve the app and understand how children learn best, we collect anonymous usage data through Mixpanel, a third-party analytics service. This includes:

  • Activity completion rates (e.g., which lessons are finished)
  • Time spent on activities
  • Feature usage (which parts of the app are used)
  • Technical information (device type, browser type, general location at country level)

What We Do NOT Collect

  • No names, emails, or personal identifiers
  • No user accounts or registration required
  • No precise location data
  • No photos, videos, or audio recordings
  • No contact lists or device identifiers tied to individuals

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Z5 Academy is designed for children ages 4-6. We take children's privacy seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We do not collect personal information from children. The anonymous usage data we collect cannot be used to contact or identify any individual child. We do not:

  • Require children to provide personal information to use the app
  • Collect more information than necessary for the app to function
  • Share children's information with third parties for marketing
  • Enable public forums or direct messaging

Parental Rights: Parents can contact us at any time to request that we delete any analytics data associated with their usage session, though this data is already anonymous and cannot be tied to specific individuals.

Third-Party Services

We use Mixpanel for analytics. Mixpanel's data practices are governed by their Privacy Policy. We have configured Mixpanel to not collect personal information and to comply with COPPA requirements.

Local Device Storage

Z5 Academy may use your device's local storage (cookies and browser storage) to:
